     The author of this site is a priest of the Roman Catholic Church, who served for more than half his priesthood in the Byzantine-Ruthenian Catholic Church; thus, in addition to homilies based on the two calendars of the Roman Rite, the archives contain many based on the calendar of the Byzantine Tradition as well.

This web site offers no commercial service and generates no income of any kind (the link to the Dorrance Publishing Online Bookstore, where Father Michael's book is available for purchase, navigates away from this site entirely). The site's domain name and address are Father Venditti's personal property, openly purchased by him at private expense; his ownership does not expire.

  • The site was designed by Father Venditti and coded by him; no web site professionals or web design software were employed in its production or design, and all coding was done by hand in Windows® Notepad© in the HTML 5 language with UTF-8 character encoding. The code is open, and can be viewed by right-clicking on most browsers and selecting "View Source".

  • The use of embedded fonts on this web site has been discontinued due to the difficulties inherent with the CSS Style language in pages encoded with a UTF-8 character set, necessary to support text in languages using non-Western characters. This feature was purely cosmetic and did not effect one’s ability to view the site, and the fonts displayed were only viewable in Microsoft® Internet Explorer©; thus, with the near universal upgrade to Windows 10 among PC users, and the increasing use of other web browsers, the feature's days were numbered. You may still view this site with the fonts originally created for it by downloading and installing the Maiandra true-type font set, direct links for which are found below; the files are on this server, and the links do not direct away from FatherVenditti.com. What's more, installing the fonts directly to your own computer will now allow them to be displayed on any web browser you may be using, and make them available to you for your own use. Simply download each of the three TTF files to your desktop, then right-click on each and select "Install". Once installed, you can discard the three downloaded files. This is, of course, purely optional, and not at all necessary to enjoy this web site.

  • This site uses the products of WiredMinds AG to collect anonymous information about those who visit it.
